Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart passes away

Another sad day for professional wrestling…

This was confirmed via our friends at withspandex.

I had to write 3 of these a couple of weeks ago and I’m not excited in the slightest to have to do another one so soon.

Jim Neidhart was built to be a wrestler. His larger than life personality, athleticism and pure craziness personified what the 1980’s wrestling scene was all about. Jim was apart of what many (myself included) consider one of the very top (if not THE top) tag teams of all time in the Hart Foundation. He played pro football, wrestled in Stampeded, Mid-South, New Japan, WWE, WCW and lots of other spots in a career that can only be deemed Hall of Fame worthy.

His daughter Natalya is still a big part of WWE programming and I’m sure this is a giant blow for her and her entire family. I can only wish her and her entire family the best in this trying time.

Jim was 63.

The chadsanidiot family extends its condolences to Jim’s family, friends and fans.
